Running from 31st March to 3rd April in Salou, the Grassroots Cup 2026 is the ultimate international youth football competition for ages 7 to 16. Teams will face rivals from FC Barcelona, RCD Espanyol, Sporting Lisbon, Gimnàstic de Tarragona and other top sides, with a minimum of five matches guaranteed per team.
Our players and coaches stay in comfortable 3 or 4-star accommodation (full or half board), with professional-level sports facilities just minutes away. Off the pitch, participants can choose from unforgettable excursions, such as the Barça Immersive Tour or a thrilling day at PortAventura Theme Park.
Organised by the experienced team at The Barcelona Experience, including former FC Barcelona player Juanjo, the tournament focuses on player development, competitive spirit, and creating memories that last.
Taking place from 7th April to 10th April, the Copa Tarragona brings youth teams to the sun-drenched Catalan coast for another world-class football experience. Teams are invited to take on strong Spanish sides and invited international clubs in at least four matches, with semi-finals staged at a spectacular La Liga stadium.
With The Barcelona Experience's knowledgeable staff, high-quality facilities, and strict fair play values, this is more than just a tournament,it's a chance to experience international football, focus on development, and foster a lifelong love of the game.
All matches follow FIFA, Spanish FA, and Catalan FA rules
7-a-side: 2×10 minute halves; 11-a-side: 2×20 minute halves
Rolling substitutions allowed for maximum playing time
Group stages lead to Cup and Plate finals,everyone plays right to the last day
Strict discipline and fair play policy: poor behaviour may result in expulsion
Each team must arrange their own player insurance
